 PENNY JUNOR

After 'ghost writing' three bestselling books in the last two years - Penny Junor has moved publishers and will write a major biography of Prince William for Hodder & Stoughton. Rowena Webb made a pre-emptive six figure offer for world rights.

As it is possibly useful as an indication of the kinds of work I respond to, I include an occasional list of books that I have read for pleasure recently and enjoyed. I whole heartedly recommend the following:

Fiction: 24 FOR 3 Jennie Walker
ARE THEY FUNNY, ARE THEY DEAD? short stories  Marjorie Ann Watts
           GOING WRONG Ruth Rendell

Non-fiction: THE HIDDEN LANDSCAPE Richard Fortey
                  A GAMBLING MAN  Jenny Uglow
                  ISTANBUL  Orhan Pamuk
