 CONGRATULATIONS TO DENIS AVEY

At the London Bookfair on Monday publishers Hodder held a celebratory dinner for Denis Avey on the publication of his memoir THE MAN WHO BROKE INTO AUSCHWITZ. Representatives of 8 of the countries where his book will appear in translation gathered together to meet Denis, 92, who gave a memorable speech about his motives for publishing the book and his gratitude to those who had helped bring his story to the world. It has become an instant bestseller and I hope will be read for years to come.
